Story

Two-year-old Finch is a sweet, playful Velcro pug who easily makes friends with everyone he meets, including people of all ages and his fellow canines. Finch’s favorite activities include cuddling, going for walks, playing with other dogs, and chewing on stuffed toys, ropes, and balls. Like many pugs, he also enjoys family-style dining; he digs into his own bowl with gusto, and then moves on to other dogs’ bowls to sample what they’re eating. Finch is currently mastering the art of housetraining and is learning leash commands. Most importantly, he’s also building his confidence! When he arrived at the rescue, he had been taking daily anxiety medication, which he no longer requires. Finch’s ideal forever family will continue to train him, make sure he gets plenty of exercise, and ensure that family members are home frequently to provide him with companionship and reduce his anxiety.
