Story

Eight-year-old Murphy is a handsome senior with an energetic side! He enjoys cuddling with his humans on the couch and watching TV, but also loves chasing other dogs and playing with toys. Murphy’s other favorite pastimes include going for walks, wolfing down his food, engaging in attempted food thievery from other dogs’ bowls, and snoozing in various locations throughout the house (including on human beds, under human beds, on the couch, and in the crate). Murphy is housetrained, crate trained, doggie door trained, and responds well to verbal corrections from his people. As a born explorer with a curious side, he is occasionally tempted to bolt out of the front door to see all of the happenings in the neighborhood; his ideal forever family will be prepared with bolting prevention tactics (which could include treats, as Murphy loves his food). If you’re looking for a senior who enjoys mellow moments and playtime in equal measure, Murphy could be the perfect companion for you!
