Story

Three-year-old Riley didn’t receive the best care in her former life, but she is ready for a new start with an active and loving forever family! Riley is highly social and adores being surrounded by the humans and pups in her pack. She has an abundance of youthful energy and enjoys active pursuits including going for walks, playing with toys, running around with other dogs, and trying to eat other dogs’ food after wolfing down her own bowl. Riley is a Velcro girl at heart who loves being held and is not shy when it comes to asking for affection; we suspect that she didn’t receive much in her former home and is making up for lost time! She is housetrained and crate trained, but much prefers to have free roam of the home (and will tell you so). Her ideal forever family will have plenty of time to spend with her, live an active lifestyle, include at least one other friendly dog so that she has an outlet for play and socializing, give her daily eyedrops to keep her eyes feeling refreshed, and commit to making her meals quickly – she can be quite vocal when she’s left waiting for her food!
