Story

Six-year-old Rubylee is a bundle of chonky sweetness. Her leisure interests include being petted, sunbathing in the yard, monitoring the goings-on in the neighborhood, snuggling with humans on the sofa, going for short walks, engaging in light playtime, pulling the stuffing out of toys, and avoiding the heck out of car rides. Although she is quiet for the most part, she is not afraid to be vocal when she wants something, especially a meal! Rubylee’s demeanor toward her fellow canines ranges from tolerant to somewhat friendly, but she much prefers the company of people and we believe she would thrive in a home where she is the only dog. Her ideal forever family will help continue her weight loss journey, provide plenty of companionship and cuddles, and keep her alone time to a minimum.
