Story

Four-month-old pug mix Dolce had a difficult start in life, and came into the rescue’s care with severe skin issues and fur loss. Thanks to a lot of TLC from her incredible foster mom, Dolce has recovered and is proving to be a little spark plug with boundless energy and curiosity! Her preferred activities include playing with toys (balls are a particular favorite), socializing with other dogs, going for walks, and grazing on her food slowly throughout the day. She is in the process of being housetrained, learning commands, and developing ladylike manners. Dolce sleeps quietly in her play yard all night and barks with excitement when her people approach the play yard to let her out. Her ideal forever family will have a securely fenced yard and at least one person home most of the time to provide her with training, exercise, and socialization; because she has unlimited energy and can nip during playtime, a home without young children would be best.
