Story

My name is Diveth and I have been a Pug lover for as long as I can remember. I had the pleasure to be the mom of my 15-year-old Pug named Nena who was the sweetest and super easy-going girl. She loved her paw crew and was known as "The Grandma." She brought me so much joy, so when I lost her, I was heartbroken.

Thankfully I found DFW Pug Rescue where coordinators and volunteers made me feel welcomed and understood. Then I was able to see how much help the rescue was needed, and it made me realize that my new purpose was to help all Pugs in need any way I could. Getting limitless Pug kisses was surely a plus. Since then, I have spent my spare time doing transports, home visits, fostering, and dressing up as The Grinch who stole Christmas, which was wonderful because I got to meet so many Pugs and their families during the holidays.

Each one of these things have brought me so much happiness, but the best part of all is when I get to see our adorable Pugs being adopted and finally find their forever home.
